Job description

This position is ideal for an autonomous self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills who can manage the scheduling of their days. While the position is work-from-home, it requires frequent client site visits; therefore, reliable transportation is required. When not at client sites, remote support shall be provided from locations of your choosing including Work Consultants’ WeWork hot-desk offices; we’re a modern, distributed workforce with no dedicated office space.

Required soft skills

    • PCs including internal part upgrades
    • Monitors
  • Mobile device support
    • Help clients configure work email, 2FA/MFA
    • Answering clients’ basic mobile-related questions
  • Competent Windows Server administration
    • Active Directory administration
      • Domain controller administration and lifecycle management
      • User account administration and lifecycle management
      • GPO administration
    • Internal DNS records management
    • Hyper-V VM creation and lifecycle management
  • Competent network infrastructure administration
    • Competent knowledge of network infrastructure, and Ethernet wireless protocols
    • Public DNS records management
    • Security certificate administration and lifecycle management
    • Administration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of:
      • Firewalls (SonicWALL)
      • Enterprise wireless (Aruba)
      • Managed switches
      • Printers, scanners, UPSs
  • Competent Microsoft cloud ecosystem management
    • Microsoft Office 365 administration
      • User management, licensing, MFA, etc.
      • Exchange Online administration: mailbox management, mail flow rules,
    • Microsoft Azure administration
      • VMs, VPNs, web apps, etc.
